I'm here at a table at Bar Camp Toronto, taking advantage of the oh-so-precious power bar and wireless access.
A lot of fun so far. First presentation of the day was the folks from Unspace about specs and agile development. This has inspired me to swallow my fear and sign myself up for an evening session with my talk, Post-Spec. As an added incentive, I'm going to have a bottle of Highland Park 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch that I'll share with the audience. If it's not informative, it should at least be amusing - and if not amusing, at least there will be something to drink.
Saw another talk about the Socioeconomic Impact of Web 2.0 - I didn't agree with all of the doom & gloom, but it made for a good discussion.
We're just about to start Java vs. Ruby - Smackdown!!!!
